Monthly Meetings
The monthly meetings serve as the core of membership activity. During these evening meetings, members perform for each other, meet visiting artists, share news, and socialize. There are eight monthly meetings in our season (September-April). In addition, NJGMS produces a newsflyer each spring that summarizes the seasonŐs activities for those members who wish to support us but cannot attend the meetings.

Educational Assistance
The NJGMS assists educators with instruction and resources for their school guitar/mandolin programs. We are recognized by the NJ State Department of Education as a provider of professional development (provider #5001).

Concerts, Master classes, and Events
NJGMS sponsors, encourages, and/or assists in guitar and mandolin activities. One such event, Guitar Night, NJGMS sponsors up-and-coming talent at a renowned venue to help start their career as a musician.
